Opera Houses
Major opera houses have mechanized stages permitting heavy sets to be changed rapidly. Although they use the latest technology, the grandest halls do not use microphones and speakers since trained opera singers are able to project their unamplified voices in the hall. Since the 1990s some of the finest houses in the world have installed J.R. Clancy acoustic enhancements to the pure delight of audiences.
